In the early 70s, Jules' son Roland decided to specialize in acetate eyewear..

1980
Since the '80s, the company has produced mainly injected molded optical frames and sunglasses. Pierre Bondet, the 3rd generation, joined the company in 1986.

1994
Pierre takes over the management of the company and focuses production on subcontracting for major optical and sunwear brands such as Cartier, Reebok, Safilo and many others.

1996
Pierre Bondet invents and patents interchangeable lenses for Smith/Safilo's flagship Slider model. With over 3 million frames produced, these frames become a must-have for the 2000s.

2006
Creation of a foreign subsidiary to meet the various demands of major customers for the manufacture of low-cost frames, as well as ski and motorcycle goggles.

2018
Pierre is convinced that 100% French manufacturing should once again become possible at reasonable prices. The company then takes a 180-degree turn, and decides to relocate all its production to Oyonnax, with a clear desire to make French-made eyewear accessible to all.

2019
We obtained the “Origine France Garantie” certification attesting to the quality and 100% French origin of our frames.

2020
In keeping with our know-how and the values that drive the company, we decided to work exclusively with alternative, bio-sourced or recycled materials.

2021 & the adventure continues
We launched our own collection of “Origine France Garantie” certified, bio-sourced optical frames exclusively for opticians.
